World Amateur Radio Day

This weekend is World Amateur Radio Day Display and Activation at Albury LibraryMuseum.

We are having a Display and operating a radio station for contacts on all HF bands from Friday the 15th April to Monday the 18th April 2016 from 10am till 4pm est daily. All visitors and some more operators to help would be welcome. All contacts will be recorded on Eqsl and by normal Qsl cards if required.

Every April 18, radio amateurs worldwide take to the airwaves in celebration of World Amateur Radio Day. It was on that day in 1925 that the International Amateur Radio Union was formed in Paris.
