Roof Top Run 2019

This year’s Roof Top Run went off without any major incidents.

Greg VK2EXA would like to thank all participating operators for their invaluable help. We had operators who walked into their locations on Saturday. Peter VK2CIM and Nigel VK3NWH set up the portable repeater at a high point near Warby Corner.

Saturday afternoon we had a welcome break from Albury/Wodonga’s heat with 9ml of rain and temperatures of around 7c.

Sunday morning other operators walked into their locations and we set up on Mt. Hotham summit. Operators recorded the runners’ numbers as they passed and forwarded the data to us at the summit. After all runners had been accounted for we left the summit at 6:30 pm.

A presentation was held at the “Flour & Water” cafe in Mt. Beauty.
